I went to work for AEROTECH on 3/18 /2015. Prior to that I was told by recruiter that the Job has been delayed for they Had no received my background check back yet and were waiting on results. I finely went to work , but I received a call on 3/22/2015 I was not to return to the work site. AEROTECH had several complaints against them for not paying wages and not paying out bonus's > The company where I was placed got wind of this and for what I understand Got rid of all AEROTECH employee's. Mainly because they went to the employer where they were assigned and complained to them. One AEROTECH employee pay check was so messed up he did not get paid for 3 weeks. I still have not been paid and I am about to get evicted. AREOTECH Can take there jobs & shove It ! And go blow it out there whistle stack ! Don't go to work for AREOTECH!

Reason of review
Problems with payment

Aerotek - They treat you like garbage & that their corporate clients are far more important than the rest of you

I was placed at an assignment looking to hire on perm. I had no problems up until the company wanted to hire me perm and give me a promotion. Aerotek got GREEDY and demanded that my company pay a higher PAY OFF than negotiated which in turn cost me my promotion because my company didnt want to pay them a fee based on the salary they were going to off me with my promotion. This company is greedy. My recruiter lied to me and told me they would never cost an employee their job or a promotion HOWEVER that is EXACTLY what happened. I will continue on at the company i was placed at because of MY HARD WORK despite what this greedy company who thinks Im a slave to be bought and sold .. when i asked about details from Aerotek I was treated like a underling, a minion who had no rights and wasnt entitled to an explanation. I am an educated professional probably more educated than the idiotic recruiters that sit behind those desks. They simply have knowledge of open positions that I would have been otherwise unaware of but IM THE ONE WHO EARNED MY PROMOTION BY WORKING MY BUTT OFF NOT THEM FOR JUST HELPING TO PLACE ME AT A FOOT IN THE DOOR ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. They were entitled to a pay off based on 10.00 per hour what my salary would be after my contract ended with them is none of them FRIGGIN BUSINESS. GOLD DIGGERS WHO REST ON THE BACKS OF HARD WORKING PEOPLE WHILE MISREPRESENTING THEMSELVES AND HAVING BLATANT DISREGARD FOR THE WORKERS WHO THEY ACTUALLY ARE MAKING THEIR LIVING OFF OF.

I'm a recruiter there looking to quit and completely agree with you. However, it's the account managers that negotiate all this stuff and tell the recruiters what to do. I always agree with the employee and want to pay them more or help them out, but my greedy account manager is the decision make and negotiator.

Reason of review
Bad quality

Aerotek very rude recruiters and not responsive

The recruiters on numerous occasions have contacted me and the people I had referred to them, about the same positions, putting me and my friends in competition. They have no respect for anyone but just $$$. The recruiters think they can do anything and you are just another applicant with no respect to clients. There are other Recruiters in the industry, find a smaller company that will give you attention and RESPECT. STAY AWAY FROM AEROTEK. I have been treated very poorly by a recruiter, and when I ask to speak to another recruiter, they get upset. So they wont pass you on to another recruiter but will insist you work with them and continue to treat you poorly. MAYBE IF WE ALL STOP USING THEM they will finally figure it all out and respect the candidates.

I agree with you. I am a recruiter there looking to quit.

The other recruiters I work with are so competitive and greedy that they would never let you talk to another recruiter for fear that they will find you a job and make spread aka commission off of you.

They would rather have you for themselves and not place you than have their colleague place you for a client they are working for and make money. :/

I don't like Aerotek either, but I have to say your idea that they shouldn't alert you and your "referral friends" about the same positions is childish and so ridiculous, it's laughable. Obviously, they are going to alert any candidates they think may be interested/may be a fit, and they don't have time to to monitor if they are your "friends" and whether it would get you all butthurt if you got the same leads.

Get real, it's not their place to manage your friendships! Having said that, the thing I hate most about Aerotek is they seem to just hire fresh out of college kids with no experience, which is fine, but not when it's your core group of recruiters. They need to focus on having more experienced recruiters on their staff, but I think they avoid that as they would have to pay them more. They don't seem to realize they get what they pay for and candidates are often turned off dealing with inexperienced 22 year old "recruiters".

Also, there have been stories in the media where they tell a candidate they have a job and to quit their current job, which the person does, only to find out the position promised by Aerotek doesn't exist. Hearing about stories like that and the resulting lawsuits also is a turnoff to potential job-seekers.

Aerotek's onsite management is poor. They have too many employees per onsite managers.

The Employee Relations department is not any better. If you have an issue your told to schedule a meeting through Outlook. OK that was fine that's how most people do it. Problem is they never accept any of the invites, or even suggest another time and no follow up or return calls.

The onsite managers and recruiters have zero management training. Like someone else said- all twenty something's with a degree and know it all attitude. And if you are having issues with the company you are contracting at, don't think for a moment anyone from Aerotek will back you up. There are a lot of staffing agency's that are 100% better to work for.

If you contract through Aerotek you will regret it. If you do work for them make sure to ask what the turn-over rate is for he company they place you at. I sadly didn't and its 40%. They won't look for another placement for you.

Stuck in *** until I can find another job, or unless they fire me first. Last week they wrote up 25 employees. And these are good people too! The market is flooded with experienced hard working people.

Saw the write up form and it says by a form letter check box " The behavior must improve ASAP!! Really, ASAP?

Unprofessional, and Aerotek can manage client relationships or their contract workers. DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY - NO THANK YOU, AND HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!

My recruiter was just fine. The iripoff scam they have going on with Allegigis group is not ok at all. I signed for an insurance for a single person at 240.00. I thought per month but it was per week. They were taking that every week even though I told them to dump it....

Aerotek will use you and throw you away at there earliest convenience!

I was contacted by an Aerotek recruiter notifying me I'd been chosen for the position that I'd applied for. I needed to complete a drug test and submit to a background check. Aproximately one hour after taking the drug test, i received a call from the recruiter saying that my drug test had to be sent out for futher testing. I immediately calle the clinic who took my sample and they told me that my test were perfect there was no problem at all. One week later Aerotek called me to congratulate me saying i had the job! At that time she said my background check was on hold but the client and Aerotek did not have a compliance clause. I worked for three weeks performing well on my assignment but received a call at the end of a work day by Aerotek saying my Background Check did not pass. Those who have worked for Aerotek should come together and file a class action suit for impropper business practices

I applied with aeroteck last week and was called about a job the following day. I came in to do an interview and paperwork for the job that started that same night I went for my drug test as far as I knew I had done everything on my end.while traveling to the job sight that night I got a call from my recruiter sadid and was told my drug test was still pending and I would not be able to start until my drug test came through and that my start date would be postponed a day or two. It has now been four days and after several attempts to contact my recruiter and the woman who interviewed me in his place I have yet to get any answers on the status of my job placement. Today i received a call from another staffing agency i worked for about the same job with a higher pay and since I know from experience prostaff is legit and professional I took it. I will never waste my time on company with such unprofessionalism. Just terrible simple communication goes a long way i wouldn't recommend using aerotek to anyone and i fell they owe my for the gas I wasted running around for them

Each client aerotek places you at uses different types of drug tests, some are instant and some are in depth lab based ones that take 1 week.

You are correct. We are told to call not only every resume we come across but all the people on the resume listed as references for potential leads and referrals.

The recruiters have no choice and are given daily lead and refer all goals that are nearly unatainable. I am currently a recruiter there and am looking for another job because of this!

I have been a recruiter for Aerotek for 6 months and everything you said is 100% accurate. I am currently looking for a new job before I quit.

I feel so bad having to call people for jobs that aren't available. However, I have to call random people to hit my call goal each day.

Re-evaluate your business and how it is being conducted across the USA. Stop putting emphasis on quantity and start to encourage recruiters to bring in QUALITY. The scare tactics account managers and DBO's use is disgusting.

My recruiter Patricia Webster was outstanding! She was extremely friendly and helped me find a job in exactly what I wanted to do in the field I wanted. She was extremely friendly when I first walked into the office and nothing but helpful throughout the entire process. Even afterwards, when I was confused about when my paycheck for the job was going to come Tricia answered my email with answers within 12 hours. I really appreciate all of her hard work! It looks great on my resume and I have Patricia to thank for that! She is nothing but positive vibes and Aerotek is the first company I would call if I ever needed help finding another job. Thanks Patricia and Aerotek for all your help!

Apparently you work as a recruiter for Aerotek. Your vague description of your "stellar" help their at Aerotek by "Patricia".

Without actually stating what the Job, is hilarious. By the way, nothing involving Aerotek on any resume looks good.

Especially considering they have a D rating with the BBB. Good try tho!

Aerotek - Positive Feedback

I have had nothing but a positive experience with Aerotek. My recruiter Jose Manuel Ruiz-Garcia was very thorough with questions for me about my skills and what kind of job I was looking for and very helpful with pointers for my interview. He placed me with a excellent company that was a perfect fit. That was almost 10 months ago and I am still there and very happy with the way things have worked out. He has kept in touch on a regular basis to make sure things are going well. I couldn't ask for a better recruiter. Thank you. Brian Meyer

Aerotek - Recruiter Review

The recruiter called me about a job that I may be interested in. No experience needed. Had the interview with the company and it went great. At least I thought it did. I was told I was hired as a back up. Two people that were hired failed the drug test and the recruiter called me and said I could start the following Monday. I was sitting in the training class for 45 minutes I was called out into the hallway and was told I was not picked for the position. I quit my other job because I had this job and now in at ground zero. I called the corporate office for Aerotek they must have a book of excuses for when they messed up. Horrible company! Stay away!!!

They need to have more lawsuits against them; how is that even ethical for them to say you got the job, you start the training and then they yank the rug out from you??
