Calling my current boss and telling me that I was more or less in. After that I did not hear back for two weeks...finally I called, to get an answer of "Oh sorry they hired someone else" Then months later I get a call from the same guy, he says I have a job for you....

You need to tell Aerotek to lose your phone number. Make a vow not to deal with such an unprofessional agency and stick to it!

Aerotek is staffed by young 20 something year olds with little to no previous professional experience. They don't hire recruiters, they hire salespeople and telemarketers. I would have lowered expectations when dealing with them.

Aerotek - Not paying proper recorded hours, lack of contact

1.0
Details
I have been employed by Aerotek to help out with the debris removal after Hurricane Matthew. I have been working 12-13 hour days, 7 days a week, on average 80-90 hours every week. Not one paycheck was correct. It's not off by minutes or even hours, but off by days, 2-3 days. I was getting calls everyday from my recruiter, and now since the hours and pay issue have arrived, I haven't heard boo from her, nor is she returning calls. I have even put a call into other people in her office that she calls "partners" and not a single one has answered or returned a phone call regarding this issue. They are very unprofessional, unresponsive, and will cheat you out of hours and pay. I even called their corporate office in MD, and they have no clue where to refer me to regarding this. Lots of pointing fingers, passing blame or just outright no communication. I would never refer this company to anyone.

Extremely unprofessional, the worst recruiter to deal with. Had no concept of how to deal with people nor acceptable personnel management. Not sure if he was trained badly or just did not possess the people skills and common sense to perform his job effectively.

Looks like you also wrote defaming letters about her family members as well. Please note I will be contacting all of these people and alerting them to your BS letters here.

Hopefully, they will pursue you in a court for libel and defamation of character. I know if it were myself, I would go after you full force and not rest till you paid me full restitution, issued retractions and publicly apologized. I don't know what kind of mental illness you have, but you CANNOT libel and slander people.

There are penalties for that! THINK before you post!

Aerotek only hires fresh from college 22 year olds. Their recruiters have zero experience and many may never have even worked before.

Aerotek (and some other agencies) are notorious for using applicants' references as a sales tool. They are less interested in obtaining a reference on you and more interested in trying to gain your references as new client companies.

It is not illegal, what they are doing, but it is unethical and shady. Many people have reported they were told by their own references they could no longer use them, as they were tired of sales calls from staffing agencies like Aerotek.

I worked as engineering recruiter for Aerotek last year. When we couldn't find anymore candidates to call with relevant experience, our account managers would tell us to call everyone's references to see if they would like the job or if they knew someone or even if the company they worked for needed our services.

The ultimate goal was to land a contract. The goal is never ever to *** anyone or find them a job. This is one of the MANY reasons why I quit.

We were also encouraged to use our personal cell after hours to check in on candidates. :(

Very rude recruiters. Didn't care about employees. You need to fire Rich! Or give him some classes in empathy. But either way, they don't care about you and your pretty much replaceable in there eyes. Anyways, good luck with your customer service because it sucks.
