I am a very hard working man who always exceed the companies expectations. It is messed up when they said that they found a job for me, I took the drug test, and told me that they will let me know when I am going to start working on that day. A week goes by, call them...

Aerotek generally does not have the best reputation. I am sorry they are giving you the runaround, instead of being upfront and honest.

I have worked in staffing / recruiting industry and have little respect for so-called professionals who can't be bothered to return phone calls.

I hope that you will continue to look for work and not depend on Aerotek. Good luck.

The recruiters with little to no experience don't decide if you get the job. They simply screen you to see if you will show up to the first interview on time and aft professionally. Then they forward you to the actual company and manager you'll be working for and they decide to hire you or not.

Aerotek,what a frigin JOKE!!

This place is a JOKE.I'm dealing w/the Jacksonville,Florida office. They have to market cornered when it comes to hiring in my field for the area.Whenever you see a job posting for the field,it's usually through Aerotek.WTF??After dealing w/Aerotek in the past and getting the SHAFT,why is it right or fair to me for them to "squat" on all the jobs related to my field I specialize in?There should be some sort of law making companies like this only allowed to have so many job offerings in certain fields. There are PLENT of other avenues for employers to get their job openings out there.

If you start your own company do you want the government to regulate how much money you can make too? Come on dude, get your head out of your own ***. Your attitude is equivelant to a child who cant share their toys and crys about it.

Jim Davis And Steve Bisciotti should be very proud of creating the medium of skilled labor and minds to get screwed. Slavery is back.

Aerotek in Jacksonville, Florida - Foreclosure specialist

Technically Aerotek hired me to work for Wells Fargo bank to process foreclousures. Once hired, most of what I did was loan processing and assisting with the conversion of loans, even though I was in the FC dept. Aerotek told me the position was "temp to Perm" and that I could expect a permanent position after about six months -- if they liked me. I was worked to the bone at Wells Fargo. I worked around 50 hrs per week most weeks-- the pressure to meet crazy deadlines was unblieveable. Then, I found out that even though there were around 25 temps working in that department (all Aerotek employees), there were only 7 permanent positions available. Those of us "interested" in a permanent position were encouraged to "apply".

you spelled foreclosures wrong. but i digress...you do realize that aerotek is only a staffing agency...once you are placed at the client then it is up to the CLIENT to determine your hours.

not aerotek. you obviously dont have a clear understand of how aerotek works.

I took a temp to hire job with Aerotek, I was told I had to work whatever the hours were or not take the job. Turned out to be 70 hours at 12 hour days 6 days a week.

I got injured on the job due to another employees not following procedure, the next day I was put on light duty and Aerotek fired me on the spot. Now a year later I am still fighting their insurance carrier who refuses to allow me to go to a doctor for followup unless I contact the state industrial commission, each request to see a doctor takes at least 6 months to get permission and endless threats from the state.

Bottom line they are bottom feeders, they lie, and will not honor a contract unless you threaten to quit or take it to the client, I have done both and when you do they tow the line. Knowing who and what they are going in is like using lube, it doesn't hurt near as bad when they stick it to you.
