Where to begin, how about don't waste your time or resources with Aerotek or Allegis parent Co.
My experience with Aerotek over the last 9 years has been zero interviews scheduled, even after being told client wanted to interview. Yanking chains with great comeons that turn out after jumping through hoops to be nothing as initially explained as being (Bait & Switch- Good opportunity, Direct Hire, with benefits in my desired pay range, is suddenly 6 mo. Contract hire, zero benefits, zero pd. holidays or vacation with lame at best excuses-lies).
I can see why folks avoid this so-called recruiter as well as higher end business. I've even been told first hand VP's that "all they've even gooten from Aerotek is garbage and they don't use them anymore because of they get smoked as well".
As an employer and a candidate I would just warn you. They lie to both their clients and candidates and waste everyone's time & resources with poor to no results. There seems to be a serious problem being professional among most of their staff. If you have experienced professional needs or are an well experienced professional, avoid wasting your time and efforts here. They just don't deliver on either end in any professional level or endeavor on either side of the fence. The are a low-end, low skills, low compensation specialist always trying to get leads from folks and not supplying quality opportunities or personal to professionals in need.
