Worst recruiters to work with

I would give 0 star if I could. By far, one of the worst recruiting companies and recruiters to work with. Do you want to be left hanging and waiting for replies on Callas and email. Well, you are on luck because this it is the right place to be. Good trying to land a job with this staffing company. It's all I have to say

Ever pays the bonus

Aerotek placed me in a job that I absolutely love but beyond that they have been nothing but terrible. For the second month in a row they are weeks (3 both times) late paying my (and the other employees) bonus. When we call to complain we get told things like “you shouldn’t depend on a bonus to pay your bills” the bonus is earned and paid for by the company we are placed with and Aerotek has had the info for three weeks and have not paid us. There. Are about 30 of us in this situation and if we are not paid by Friday we will all be filing complaints with the labor board. How shameful that we need to do this just to get what we are owed.

The job was terrible

I went through aerotek for a job, dealing with aerotek seemed just fine , it was the job they got me that was horrific. I took the job for low pay because I needed overnight hours to keep my days free, plus it was a 4 day work week. The job itself sucked *** so bad it was unreal, 98% of the people were lazy degenerates, half of those people were dirty smelly mexicans who did next to nothing. My second day there the big bosses had a meeting and bitched about low production and low quality, look who they have working here for *** wages. We’re they really surprised about the quality and production issues? Not to get too far of the subject of aerotek I think the deal with mostly *** at least that’s the impression I got and probably why they blow people off on a regular basis....

I Just Din't Know

I put in applications over 2 months ago. I spoke with a man who said I would be a perfect candidate for the at home calling center. He then told me that he would call me back. Which took several days. When this company called back it was not him it was a lady telling me that she feels I would be better at administration. I agreed and she said she would call me as soon as a position opened. Well that has not happened. Then I was like wait I need a job right now. So I called back and emailed and applied again and called and opened a new account with a different email same info and still no call back. They set you up thinking your going to get employed and then leave you in the wind. I should have just taken the job, I probably be working right now. Or maybe not. They are full of the biggest bag of s%$#! Its hard enough trying to get a job being a single mother of 2. They make people want to reach out in a different kind of way. If you have a family and looking for steady income right now, don't deal with this company. They are not family oriented.

Still Getting Calls Every Now and Then After telling them to STOP

Aerotek STOP CALLING AND EMAILING ME even after I've requested to take my information off they are STILL harassing me because these recruiters are desperate to get paid from getting people in call center positions since it's the most easiest. NO I DON'T HAVE ANY "SUCKERS' for you to work at the lab company I'VE JUST LEFT! Aerotek was the one who partners with a client who is notorious for laying both temp and permanent people off. I WAS LAID OFF A MONTH AND A HALF FROM THEIR AGREED END-DATE and then my recruiter from Aerotek talked about "I'm so sorry, they had just notified us this morning but ICANGETYOUANOTHERPOSITION." Yeah, whatever. I've blocked their number and email address, so they can try to call me all they want, they won't reach me

Phone screening

Received a call from a recruiter about a data entry position I applied for. They went through the screening. The recruiter was very unprofessional, he kept saying gotcha after every response. He then tells me the job I applied for was filled and tried to get me to take a customer service position making cold calls. Why do a screening for the job I applied for if it was already filled? Total scam.

Absolutely nonexistent recruiter

Originally, I wanted to get a job that required you to apply through Aerotek, and so I did just that, even closely following the instructions handed to me. I called a recruiter of my state's branch named Camilla and first call, she didn't pick up. She didn't pick up the second time either. It took a few days to actually have her respond, which I wasn't able to pick up as I was on the subway. I tried calling back the next day, and I'm sure it's been about three to five attempts I've tried to call Camilla back, but there was no response. It just led to voicemail every single one of those times. It has been 8 days since I received a call back. Is this recruiter even a real person?

Left me jobless. Anthony Lopez. A liar.

I was working for a company and this Anthony Lopez has been calling me for probably a year already couple of time offering me a job as an LPN. I always tells him if they can pay me what my current employer at that time pays me, then i will consider. Just this March 2019, he called again saying that this employer will pay me the price asked him. He called me and said to go to his office for an interview and immediately scheduled me to be interviewed to a oncology company. The interview went well and the head nurse said i have the job and will call Anthony. I kept on asking him about my pay and he kept on telling me that there is no question about the rate. They are willing to pay any amount and he is sure that they will give me the amount i asked them. To make the story short, i quit my job after confirming to him that i got the job and knowing that everything was already set. I even asked him a couple of times to send me a copy of employees benefits. So a couple of days he send me the employees benefits with a message that the company wants to hire me but did not want to pay the amount i asked them. He told me that after I QUIT MY JOB. And he knows that i quit my job because i told him and asked him so many times about the job before i send my resignation. Which he confirmed. This person is so unprofessional and a liar. Now, i am left JOBLESS and with a family that depends on me.

Recruiters are unprofessional and lack communication skills

After applying for a job, I was asked to come in for an interview and a test. After coming in, I never heard again from the recruiter even though right after the test, the recruiter told me that I only had one wrong answer on the test and that she needed to send the results in and will let me know if the hiring company wanted to interview me. She never got back to me, no even after sending her a follow-up email ten days later and a voicemail five days after the email — a total waste of my time. I am sure that that is the norm in that place since they don't have an area on their website for the recruiters to be review or experiences with the company to be shared. I'm sure that they don't care, that they know people are going to keep coming to apply and they will continue to throw people at a job until someone sticks.

Aerotek Recruitment
Reason of review
Poor customer service

Worst staffing company with unprofessional employees.

I have been visiting the Aerotek website daily for more than 15 months now and I have sent them over 500 applications now for various different positions. I have more than 8 years of professional engineering experience and an MS degree to strengthen my credibility to get a job. I have always been flexible when it comes to relocation for a job. Even after being so flexible, highly experienced and skilled, and after so many applications, I was contacted by Aerotek recruiters only on 3 occasions in the span of 15 months. The first time I was contacted was by a recruiter in San Jose, CA after almost 150 applications to various positions. The recruiter called me to the office(although, it could have been done via a phone call) and all she did was discuss my experience and my resume that I had submitted for a specific role. After the discussion was over, she mentioned she would be submitting me for that position and would contact me for other relevant positions in the future. This was is August 2018, and I haven't heard from her ever since. The second time I was contacted by a recruiter was for a position in Foster City, CA(after almost 350 applications). The position was well below my experience level but I still applied for it because I desperately needed a job. Again, I was about to be called to the office, but I mentioned that I had already visited an Aerotek office in the past and luckily the recruiter had a phone and video interaction with me for that role. After a couple of weeks, I was told that I did not get the job because they hired someone else(this happened without the client interviewing me or Aerotek letting me know what exactly happened, even when I was exceeding the job requirements) The third time I was contacted by a recruiter was for a position in Milpitas, CA. The recruiter had submitted my application to the client and after almost two weeks of me following up regularly I was told that the company's manager hired someone else with better qualifications(although I met 95% of the requirements). I was upset, but at least I was happy to receive a firm rejection instead of being kept hanging. The next day as usual, I decided to visit the Aerotek website for job postings, and I saw the same job re-posted but this time by a different recruiter. After almost 2-3 weeks, the same job has been posted again by my previous recruiter. I am unable to understand that if the job was already closed and another candidate was hired then why is the job posting open. If the hired person did not accept the offer or left for some reason, why wasn't I contacted as the second best candidate for the role to fill up that position. If I wasnt the second best candidate and there was someone else better than me, then the job should have been given to him/her instead of being re-posted twice after me being rejected. I have trust issues with Aerotek since then and I have stopped applying to Aerotek's postings. They are really unprofessional especially for such a big staffing company. You should consider yourself lucky if an Aerotek recruiter actually takes the effort to pick up the phone, talk to you and tries hard to get you that job. Also, I do not trust them. I would rather be rejected for a real reason, so I could learn from my failure and develop myself, instead of being kept hanging and then getting rejected without an interview. Trust me but all the blogs you must have read on the internet about how you connect with a recruiter, bond with them, thank them after the interview, they don't apply to Aerotek's recruiters. They don't deserve your compassion or gratefulness because they don't care about you getting a job. And by the way, this is not just Aerotek. Its subsidiaries like Easi and Tek Systems are nothing better. I am sure the company specifically hires such unprofessional recruiters so that they maintain the same low standard of recruiters throughout their organization. I request all of you who are reading this review to kindly save your time from applying to their positions. All the good reviews that you see are mostly internal and not from job-seeking candidates. I am not sure how this company is running if they are so incompetent with their professionalism. Every time I was rejected, I was told they will keep me posted for future opportunities, but I was never contacted.
